It was painted as part of the from life weekly series. I was hoping for the sunlight but the week was dedicated to the storm and it rained all days long.
So I decided to utilize the diffused light and painted strawberries without composing them in any particular order.
For this week, I painted tomatoes hand in hand! I was listening to NPR and was moved by the vigor in the atmosphere due to the marches of women across the nation.
It was a big orange picked from the backyard. I loved the green leave that came with it.

Painting from life can be very satisfying experience if you think about it. The race against changing light, prompt selection of colors and resulting sense of accomplishment is gratifying.
