Running running and more running

Ever woke up with an idea and the excitement to do something with it, mostly on the lines of accomplishing what you just had in mind?

I do. Everyday. Except there is not just a single light bulb, its always a chandelier of bulbs, something similar to the builders' grade chandelier. Or like a tangled web of threads, with some ends hanging loose, others just barely showing in knots here and there. Or more like a flood! A dozen or so ideas hit me, each one fighting for attention for the day.

To be continued...

Thanks for stopping by, Fran.

I can understand taking time to login, reading and leaving a comment. Not many people would do that. Well, not anymore. Given how tedious the process for something as simple as dropping a few words on others' work, its a delight to see you relate to what I am going through.

I think, I had been like this for a while. Its just there are not hard deadlines anymore. Its good and bad both. Good in the sense that I feel I am more disciplined to work within reasonable time-period without having an eleventh hour, forcing me to finish it. But I find it bad because, having a deadline also means answerability, usually to some sort of authoritative figure who would reward you for accomplishing it well. Without which, you are a bossless boss of self. And when it comes to reward , you just cannot be quantitative about it. Naturally.

Earlier, there was some sort of constraints all along, but now being a mom and a stay at home artist, things are self defined and that creates a mesh of possibilities. It it a continuous chaos or creativity, which I would like to channelize for the respect of it.

Thanks again for letting me know that I am not alone. I really appreciate it!

On a side note, I had to leave this post at that, where in fact, I was meaning to declutter those thoughts into well defined, free-flowing independent streams.

Its good that hardwiring of getting things in order has always worked in my favor. But I have surrendered to the fact that sometimes to get to the next level require more hoarding so that we can fit the pieces of puzzles better!

So, I will add more to this. Or may restart a new post on the lines of this one. Either way, have to get everything on the wall where I can see it all together, more clearly. I would want to wake up rested. I really do.

Bhavna, You are totally talking about me...my thought process moves so fast that I lose track of my thoughts. There are times when instead of concentrating on the task at hand, I get absorbed in what's going through my brain.
